The Future of You – Women in Transportation Leadership

Debbie Hale, Executive Director, Transportation Agency for Monterey County, and Maura Twomey, Executive Director, Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments, will moderate a panel discussion with three transportation leaders and facilitate an interactive question-and-answer session with the audience.

Panelists:

* Jane Parker, Monterey County Supervisor and Transportation Agency for Monterey County Chair, will represent elected women in transportation.

* Norma Ortega, Caltrans Chief of Finance, will discuss the roles of women in Caltrans.

* Karen Philbrick, Ph.D., Executive Director, Mineta Transportation Institute, will present the roles of women in transportation education and research.

Location: Taste of Monterey, 700 Cannery Row kk, Monterey, in the back of the building and up the stairs
